The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ulaanbaatar is pleased to announce a call for proposals for Small Local Projects (MLP) to create positive change within the framework of the Development Cooperation of the Czech Republic.
Small Local Projects (hereafter “MLP”) are one of the key instruments of bilateral development cooperation of the Czech Republic under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic (hereafter “MFA CZ”). These projects are carried out by local partners in cooperation with Czech embassies in developing countries.
Priority Areas
- For 2025, the following priority areas and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have been identified:
- Good Democratic Governance (SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions)
- Sustainable Management of Natural Resources (SDGs 6 and 13 – Clean Water and Sanitation and Climate Action)
- Agriculture and Rural Development (SDG 2 – Zero Hunger, SDG 15 – Life on Land, Sustainable Forestry)
Funding Information
- The project budget must range between 200,000 CZK and 500,000 CZK (8,000 – 20,000 EUR).
Timeframe
- The project must be implemented from April 2025 (after the contract is signed) to October 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible organizations include non-governmental organizations (NGOs), non-profit organizations, civic society organizations (CSOs), social enterprises, or foundations with legal subjectivity in Mongolia.
- The implementing partner must be authorized to sign contracts with MFA CZ and be eligible to receive foreign funding.
- Funding cannot be claimed by individuals, political parties, universities, or state institutions.
