The ELAS+ Doar Para Transformar launches three of its Calls for Proposals: Women in Movement: Collective Futures, ELAS+ Digital Citizenship and ELAS for the Earth: The Climate is an Alliance.
Goal
- To strengthen organizations and networks that are at the forefront of social transformation in the five regions of the country.
Objectives
- Women in Movement: Collective Futures
- Strengthen groups led by cis, trans and other trans-identity women from all over Brazil, with flexible financial
- ELAS+ Digital Citizenship
- Support projects of groups, organizations or networks that promote digital citizenship and inclusive local space in the digital age, through the fight against Facilitated Gender Violence for Technology (VGFT) that affects cis, trans women and people of other trans identities in Brazil.
- ELAS for the Earth: the Climate is an Alliance.
- This program seeks to support organizations that work to produce responses and solutions to the challenges brought about by the worsening of climate change, environmental racism and extreme weather events in recent years. Through this call for proposals, ELAS+ will support groups, networks or organizations led by cis, trans and/or trans women. or people from other trans identities who are leading the way in confronting inequalities and the search for Climate and Gender Justice and who promote deep-rooted and far-reaching solutions at the local, regional or national level.
- Strengthen groups led by cis women, trans women and people of other trans identities who work to defend their territories and nature, promoting climate and gender justice.
Funding Information
- Women in Movement: Collective Futures:
- This Notice will allocate up to R$50,000.00 to each of the selected groups/organizations, totaling more than R$2.6 million in direct donations.
- ELAS+ Digital Citizenship
- This notice will allocate up to R$60 thousand to 15 selected projects, totaling R$948 thousand reais in direct donations.
- ELAS for the Earth: the Climate is an Alliance.
- This call will allocate up to R$50,000.00 in direct donations to the selected groups/organizations.
Duration
- ELAS+ Digital Citizenship
- The project execution time will be up to 5 months, from July 2025 to December 2025.
- ELAS for the Earth: the Climate is an Alliance.
- The execution period will be 5 months, and it will not be possible to execute resources after November 30, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
- Women in Movement: Collective Futures:
- Groups, networks or organizations (with or without a CNPJ) led by cis, trans women and/or people with other trans identities who are dedicated to social and environmental justice and access to rights may apply for this call. They must have been active for at least one year.
- Support Priority
- Groups/organizations led by LBTI+ people (lesbian, bisexual, transsexual/transgender women, transvestites, intersex and others) and/or
- Groups/organizations led by indigenous women and/or
- Groups/organizations led by black women and/or
- Groups/organizations led by women with disabilities and/or
- Feminist groups/organizations.
- ELAS+ Digital Citizenship
- Organizations or networks led by cis, trans women and/or people of other trans identities with experience in combating gender violence facilitated by technology and its intersectionalities may apply for this call.
- Proposing organizations must have at least 2 years of operation and/or foundation.
- Organizations and networks must demonstrate experience in activism against gender-based violence facilitated by technology.
- The project must be coordinated by cis, trans women and/or people of other trans identities.
- ELAS for the Earth: the Climate is an Alliance.
- Groups, networks or organizations (with or without a CNPJ) that work on issues of territorial defense and climate justice, led by cis, trans women and/or people with other trans identities, are eligible to apply for this call. They must have been active for at least one year.
- Support Priority
- Groups/organizations led by black women;
- Groups/organizations led by women from traditional peoples or communities (e.g. indigenous, quilombola, riverside, among others);
- Groups/organizations led by LBTI+ people (lesbian, bisexual, transsexual/transgender, transvestite, intersex women and others);
