The Neag Foundation is delighted to seek applications to create possibilities for important change in areas of need in education, healthcare and humanities & the arts.
They believe in the power of change. Most of their grants have been given to organizations and programs in Pennsylvania and Connecticut, the states in which the Neags lived.
Areas of Focus
- Foundation grants support organizations that provide direct services, through which the Foundation endeavors to create positive impact in the following priority areas:
- Through this work, the Neag Foundation hopes to positively impact the lives of families and children.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants will have documented 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. Preference will be given to those projects that receive broad-based community support. Grant proposals may request funds for project funding, general operating funding, capacity building, or a combination of these.
Ineligibility Criteria
- The Foundation does not grant to individuals, political, fraternal and/or civic organizations. Additionally, we do not participate in annual appeals, special event sponsorship requests or other letters of solicitation.
Application Requirements
- Name and a brief description of your organization
- Overview of the specific project for which you seek funding
- The amount requested at the time of your inquiry
- Contact information including full address
- Documentation your organization has 501(c)3 or equivalent status
- Copy of most recent tax return
- Copy of most recent financial statement
- Program or Project use of funds breakdown (budget).
