The Quad Cities Community Foundation is inviting applications for the Teens for Tomorrow Grant Program to provide operational and program support to organizations that improve the lives of Quad Cities residents through services related to issue areas that Teens for Tomorrow members have determined to be critical.
Focus Areas
- Affordable Education and Childcare: Organizations providing accessible educational support and childcare services that focus on children birth to 6th grade, including summer and after school programming.
- Food Insecurity: Organizations providing equitable access to nutritious food for individuals and families who are food insecure and/or live in food deserts.
- Supportive Housing: Organizations providing housing and resources for individuals who are unhoused, including supportive housing for individuals experiencing mental health crises and individuals who are escaping domestic violence situations.
- Immigration Support: Organizations providing support to immigrants and refugees, especially those who assist with the legal process and access to basic needs.
Funding Information
- Each year, T4T awards at least $10,000 to nonprofits meeting a variety of needs in the Quad City Area.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations:
- Are located in and serving residents of Rock Island County, Illinois and/or Scott County, Iowa.
- Grant applications address at least one of the focus areas
- Organizations must comply with their Diversity or Non-Discrimination Policy.
- Funds can be used for any expenses that address the above issues, including but not limited to direct service, operations, or education/awareness.
Evaluation Criteria
- Relevance: The organization/program meets an identified community need and fits strongly into at least one of the focus areas.
- Impact: The request identifies the area of impact and its benefit to the population served.
- Clarity: The request is clear and achievable, with clear and measurable goals identified.
- Excellence: The organization/program demonstrates a history of success as defined by the people and communities they serve.
- Equity: The organization/program advances racial and other forms of equity in the Quad Cities region through its actions and its leadership.
