The OSCE Mission to Serbia is implementing the project ‘Consolidating the Democratization Process in the Security Sector in the Republic of Serbia’, funded by Sweden.
One of the project activities is aimed at strengthening the participation of civil society organizations in the development and implementation of security related policies at both the local and national level.
Areas
- Increasing public awareness of issues aimed at enhancing democratic governance and promoting a transparent security sector;
- Fostering the development of civilian expertise in security issues, providing independent assessments and views on security policies;
- Improving personal data protection in general and in security sector institutions in particular;
- Promoting public participation in the security sector governance;
- Promoting mechanisms for gender mainstreaming in the security sector;
- Promoting participation of civil society organizations in disaster risk reduction and emergency management;
- Identifying major safety challenges affecting the youth in Serbia and developing security culture of the youth;
- Promoting Youth, Peace and Security Agenda;
- Promoting the concept of human security in local communities.
Funding Information
- The project value should not exceed RSD 1.150.000,00.
Duration
- The proposed project duration should not exceed six months.
Eligibility Criteria
- The OSCE Mission to Serbia invites interested civil society organizations to submit project proposals.
