Enabel is pleased to announce the Community Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Program.
Objectives
- The general objective of this call for proposals is: The communities and stakeholders of the territories – especially women, youth, IDPs and vulnerable groups – have inclusive, equitable and sustainable access to quality, flexible and innovative basic social services.
- The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:
- Specific Objective 1: Inputs for ASBCs – Target populations, particularly women, adolescents and young people and children from host communities and IDPs in the project area have inclusive and equitable access to quality health products up to the last mile.
- Specific Objective 2: Strengthening GBV management capacities from the community level to the district level – GBV survivors are supported holistically according to their needs, in their community up to the district level, thanks to the strengthening of skills (on prevention, case identification, referral and contribution to resolution through social mediation) of ASBCs and AVs, the establishment and strengthening of community support structures (village CVV monitoring units, FA host families) and a strengthening of the collaboration and synergy of action of these different actors in the response to GBV within the communities.
- Specific Objective 3: Community governance – Populations live in an environment conducive to inclusive and participatory dialogue and accountability around primary health care, particularly in terms of SRHR.

Funding Information
- Three lots are planned:
- Lot No. 1: EUR 149,500
- Lot No. 2: EUR 122,500
- Lot No. 3: EUR 200,000
- For Lot No. 1: 130,000 minimum amount and 149,500 maximum amount.
- For Lot No. 2: 110,000 minimum amount and 122,500 maximum amount.
- For Lot No. 3: 180,000 minimum amount and 200,000 maximum amount.
Duration
- The initial planned duration of an action cannot be less than 18 months nor exceed 24 months.
Geographic Focus
- The actions must be implemented in the health districts of Tenkodogo, Pouytenga, Koupela (Centre-East Region) and Zorgho (Plateau-Central Region) in Burkina Faso
Expected Results
- The expected results are:
- Result 1.1: Inputs – ASBCs have the necessary inputs and equipment to implement community family planning and PCIME-C.
- Result 1.2: Innovation – An effective and efficient approach is proposed, implemented and capitalized on to sustainably and innovatively improve the availability of care inputs at the community level (for example, through better use of data or otherwise).
- Result 1.3: Accountability – A complaint reporting and management mechanism is set up and discussed during monthly COGES meetings, allowing users (including those accompanying them) to receive responses to the issue of drug availability (Contextual element: most COGES in the health districts of Tenkodogo, Pouytenga and Koupela have been trained recently).
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for subsidies, the applicant must meet the following conditions:
- be a legal person;
- be a private non-profit actor or a foundation;
- be a specific type of organization such as: non-governmental organization, local authority, international (intergovernmental) organization etc.
- be established or represented in Burkina Faso;
- Be able to provide proof of experience or presence in the Centre East and/or Central Plateau regions over the last five years; this experience or presence must be justified by an official document established by the client: certificate of successful completion of mission, contract, partnership agreement, etc.
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and not act as an intermediary;
