The UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) is currently seeking applications for its programme entitled- Strengthening Trade for Inclusive Development in Southern Africa (STRIDES).
The DFID office in Southern Africa, in conjunction with DFID East Kilbride, intends to hold an Early Market Engagement Event (EME) to publicise this forthcoming opportunity, explain the scope of the proposed programme and test the concept against the market. Inputs from the EME will help to finalise the Business Case and programme design.
The EME will be hosted in both DFID SA & DFID East Kilbride offices on Thursday 15th of September 2016.
Funds Available
DFID will provide £18.4 million over five years to support key trade facilitation reforms and development of the transport corridors linking Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia.
