The Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation (SAIDC), in cooperation with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Ukraine, has launched the Call for Proposals for Small Grants in Ukraine for 2025
Small grants are one of the instruments of the Official Development Assistance of the Slovak Republic. They support small-scale development projects and enable a flexible, operational, and effective response to development needs at the local level.

Sector Priorities
- Submitted projects must relate to sectors defined by the Medium-term Strategy for Development Cooperation of the Slovak Republic for 2025–2030:
- Quality education
- Good health
- Good governance and civil society building
- Food safety and agriculture
- Infrastructure and sustainable use of natural resources
- Support for the creation of a market environment
Funding Information
- The maximum amount of the non-repayable financial contribution is 10 000 EUR per project.
- A maximum number of the selected projects are limited by the budget allocated for this call for proposals which is 40 000 EUR.
- Duration: The duration of each project is from 6 to a maximum of 12 months beginning immediately after the entry of the small grant agreement into effect.
Eligibility Criteria
- The call for proposals is open to registered:
- non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entities
- non-governmental organizations
- local and regional self-government units.
Ineligibility Criteria
- The applicant cannot be:
- a legal entity subject to an international sanction under Act No. 289/2016 Coll. of Slovak Republic on the Implementation of International Sanctions and on the Amendment to Act No. 566/2001 Coll. of Slovak Republic on Securities and Investment Services and the Amendment and Supplementation of Certain Acts.
- a legal entity against which the Slovak Republic has a financial claim.
