European Union EIDHR Program: CBSS to Support Civil Society & Human Rights Defenders in Tajikistan

U.S. Mission to Kazakhstan: Academy for Women Entrepreneurs 2021

European Union is seeking proposals from organisations for a country based support scheme (CBSS) with an aim to support civil society and human rights defenders in Tajikistan in working on human rights (political, civil, economic, social and cultural) and democratization.

The objective of this call is to contribute to the development and consolidation of democracy and the rule of law and respect for all human rights and fundamental freedoms within the framework of the Community’s policy on development cooperation and economic, financial and technical cooperation with Tajikistan, consistent with the European Union’s foreign policy as a whole.

Priority Areas

Size of Grants

Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between EUR 250 000 to EUR 400 000

Locations

Actions must take place in the Republic of Tajikistan.

Duration

The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 24 months nor exceed 36 months.
