The India-Europe Foundation for New Dialogues (FIND) is currently inviting qualified applicants to submit proposals for its Grant Programme 2017.
The submitted proposals will be evaluated by FIND Intellectual and Artistic Dialogue in collaboration with FIND’s Academic Committee according to their quality and relevance to the Foundation’s aims.
Award Information
Grants of up to 6,000 euros each are offered for Indian and European projects related to the work and heritage of Alain Daniélou. Some of the Grants are earmarked to support projects by Asian applicants and some for Western applicants.
Eligibility Criteria
- Projects within the main areas of FIND’s competence and interest will be given priority: Tradition and discontinuity in India, polytheistic religion in a global context, eroticism and symbolic forms in the arts, dance and body philosophy, comparative musicology and international dialogue, Dravidian layers of Indian culture, the feminine and the masculine (from the sacred to the social).
- The selection process takes place in two stages: After a pre-selection, chosen applicants will be invited to a Skype interview with members of FIND Intellectual and Artistic Dialogue in collaboration with the Academic Committee. The jury will reach a final decision after this interview with the applicants.
- Any person over the age of 18 is eligible. Young researchers and artists are especially welcome.
