The Foundation for Women Empowerment has announced a public call for NGOs and women’s associations focused on working with marginalized women in the local community to participate in educational training, as well as applying for funding for the organization of actions / initiatives after the end of the training.
Within this program, a practical and educational module will be organized “Public Relations and Public Relations” community initiatives – from promotion to campaign “! The goal of organizing this educational program is the strengthening of smaller non-governmental organizations in their fight against poverty and for the social, economic and other equality of women in local communities. The educational program will be held through the workshop planned for October 2018 in Sarajevo, and the implementation of thought-provoking initiatives in the local community is planned for the period from November 2018 to April 2019. The educational program consists of:
- Interactive and innovative workshops in the field of promotion, public relations, creating and planning advocacy campaigns;
- Creation of an action plan;
- Assign mini grants to support women in their actions and initiatives dependent of what is the purpose of a particular action / initiative.
Benefits
The Women’s Empowerment Foundation will bear the costs of accommodation and food during the workshop and will refund the travel expenses costs after completion of the workshop.
Criteria
This program is intended for the so-called. “Grassroots” to organizations that are gathering women, who are focused to work with selected groups of women in their local communities. All selected organizations for participation in this program will, besides the planned education, also have the opportunity to realize one concrete one an advocacy initiative that will be funded by the Foundation. During the selection process, it will be 10 organizations from all over BiH have been selected, and the program will be attended by two persons from each organization. In order to successfully pass the selection, all interested organizations through the mentioned contacts of the Women’s Empowerment Foundation should meet the following conditions:
- Being ready to participate in the whole program (from education to concrete implementation actions in the local community – by selecting and nominating two persons from the Organization for Participation in the whole program – which will later be their resource);
- That their work is focused on working with at least one group of women and that they want to strengthen
- To work and act in accordance with the law.

- Registration decision;
- Statute of the Association;
- Final or final calculation for the previous year (if the organization has just been established and there is no final report for the previous year, it is enough to mention on the memorandum organizations indicate current donors and amounts of approved projects).
