The Ministry of Culture is offering Grants aimed at financing cultural projects with a special social impact that seek to generate significant transformations in society through culture.
Objectives
- This call for grants is intended to finance cultural projects with a special social impact that aim to contribute to achieving the following objectives:
- Promote cultural participation for all citizens, with special attention to groups or collectives that face greater barriers to accessing culture, promoting cultural democracy and guaranteeing the cultural rights of all people.
- Promote the transversality of culture, connecting it with other areas of society, incorporating interdisciplinary knowledge, and promoting its positive impact on other public services and areas of public interest.
- Strengthen the capacity for citizen action through culture, promoting the active participation of communities in cultural and social processes.
- Strengthen the cohesion and articulation of the cultural fabric involved in projects aligned with the objectives of this call, promoting the creation of collaboration networks between different cultural agents throughout the territory, both urban and rural.
Funding Information
- The total amount allocated to these grants is 4,450,000.00 euros.
- Of the total amount, the estimated maximum amount of the subsidies called for in favor of for-profit legal entities will be €1,950,000, charged to budgetary application 24.04.334A.472; and for non-profit entities, the estimated maximum amount will be €2,500,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The following entities may benefit from these grants:
- Non-profit legal entities of Spanish nationality, from any Member State of the European Union or from the signatory States of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, with tax residence in Spain and legally constituted at the date of the closing date for submitting applications.
- Legal entities with a profit motive, of Spanish nationality, from any Member State of the European Union or from the signatory States of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, with tax residence in Spain and legally constituted at the date of the closing date for submitting applications.
- The corporate purpose of the applicant entities, as well as the heading of the economic activity in which they are registered, must be related to the eligible purpose of this call for proposals.
- The following may not access the subsidies provided for in this resolution:
- Public Administrations, their autonomous bodies, public companies, and other public entities, as well as economic interest groups (EIGs), joint property communities (CBs), and temporary business associations (UTEs).
- Persons or entities who are subject to any of the prohibitions under the terms provided for in Article 13 of the LGS.
- Those who have received direct grants allocated for the same purpose in accordance with the General State Budget for 2025.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Likewise, the following may not participate and will be excluded from the competition in this call for grants:
- Legal entities that, in their admission process or in their operation, harm groups that suffer social discrimination by reason of birth, race, sex, religion, opinion or any other personal or social condition or circumstance.
- Legal entities that have been definitively sanctioned through administrative, labor or criminal proceedings for violation of the right to equality and non-discrimination based on sex, or for salary discrimination, or for sexual or moral harassment, or for any other unequal treatment based on sex.
- Entities or companies that fail to comply with the established obligations in gender equality legislation.
- Applicant individuals or entities that commit, incite, or promote discriminatory or violent acts against LGBTI people.
