Health Service Executive (HSE) is inviting applications for the National Lottery Grants for distributing National Lottery funding to community groups and voluntary organisations.
They are providing this funding under the Respite Care Grant Scheme and the National Lottery Grant Scheme.
Groups and organizations who provide Health and Personal Social Services can apply for funding. The HSE provides all of Ireland’s public health services in hospitals and communities across the country.
Aims
- Promote health and wellbeing as part of everything they do so that people will be healthier.
- Provide fair, equitable and timely access to quality, safe health services that people need.
- Foster a culture that is honest, compassionate, transparent and accountable.
- Engage, develop and value their workforce to deliver the best possible care and services to the people who depend on them.
- Manage resources in a way that delivers best health outcomes, improves people’s experience of using the service and demonstrates value for money.
Funding Information
- Based on previous years they imagine that individual grant allocations this year will be between €500 to €10,000.
- An upper limit of €10,000 for applications relating to transport initiatives will apply.
Eligible Projects
- Applications must be for one-off projects that can be completed within the year of application (excluding respite)
- The Foundation cannot consider applications that have major on-going revenue implications. These include the employment of staff, capital funding and running costs.
- They cannot consider applications for projects which are already covered by HSE funding.
- Projects that already have service level agreements or grant aid agreements with the HSE cannot be considered.
