The Hilton Fund provides grants for small community and voluntary groups based in parts of South Staffordshire.
It was originally known as the Hilton Main Miner’s Recreation & Welfare Fund, and was available to support people in the Cannock Rural District.
Funding Information
- Grants of up to £2000 are available.
- The fund will consider applications for capital and revenue projects, and will consider applications for funding over three years, or one-off projects.
Projects they can support
- Your project must meet one of the following aims:
- Increase or enhance local services
- Provide local social or leisure activities
- Provide a local service that might otherwise be unavailable
- Relieve poverty or disadvantage for local people
Eligibility Criteria
- This programme is able to consider applications from:
- Constituted community groups
- Constituted voluntary groups
- Registered Charities
- Social Enterprises
Ineligibility Criteria
- This programme is not able to offer funding to:
- Community groups that do not have a constitution
- Voluntary groups that do not have a constitution
- Statutory organisations, or those that will benefit a statutory organisation
- Organisations that have been established less than 12 months
- Organisations that do not have a proven track record of service delivery
