The Shoalhaven City Council’s International Day of People with a Disability (IDPwD) Grants program is now open for applications to support community events and activities which help grow a more socially connected and inclusive Shoalhaven for people living with a disability, and their families and carers.
Funding Information
The IDPwD Grants Program provides small grants of between $300 and $1,000.
Eligible Projects
IDPwD is an opportunity for people with a disability, and their families and carers in the Shoalhaven to:
- Share ideas
- Attend inclusive events and activities
- Have their voices heard on issues of concern to them
- Showcase their talents
- Celebrate and have fun
- Projects must be free for participants
Eligibility Criteria
- Registered non-profit community group or organisation or Auspiced by a registered non-profit organisation.
- Event or activity provides direct benefit to, and participation by, people with a disability and their families and carers in the Shoalhaven
- An activity or event which meets the grant program aim and grant conditions
- Provision of a ‘no cost to participant’ event or activity
- Events and activities must be delivered between 3 December 2022 and 8 December 2022 (inclusive)
- Ineligible
- Government organisations
- Group or organisations applying on behalf of a government organisation
- Individuals, groups of individuals, for-pro‑ t commercial organisations and service clubs who intend to supplement their fund raising for a third party’s projects
- Political parties registered or not
- Groups or organisations that are directly or indirectly associated with a political party, registered or not
- Any organisation or group which has an outstanding, overdue acquittal for previous projects that have been funded by Shoalhaven City Council.
