DHS/CISA is seeking support in coordinating and collaborating with appropriate private sector and non-profit organizations as well as federal, state, and local government entities to facilitate a comprehensive national cybersecurity awareness campaign. This campaign intends to execute a research-driven strategy focused on implementing specific programs, activities, materials and outreach efforts, building on its established  national cybersecurity awareness campaign to include activities and initiatives associated with National Cybersecurity Awareness Month in October.

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is the Nation’s risk manager, empowering partner organizations to defend against today’s threats and collaborating to build more secure and resilient infrastructure for the future. As part of this mission, CISA deploys risk management information, tools and technical services to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and practices across government entities, business and the general public.

CISA supports the DHS Cybersecurity mission area and this grant specifically supports DHS Goal 4.2: Promote Cybersecurity Knowledge and Innovation.
