The Relationships Australia Tasmania is pleased to announce the Neighbours Every Day and Healthy Community Grants Program to create awareness around the importance of social connections, belonging and respectful relationships.
Funding Information
- Grants up to $1 500 are available for community organisations for grassroots activities or events that foster neighbourly connections, belonging and respectful relationships. A total pool of $50 000 is available.
Community Activities and Events
- The kinds of community activities and events that they may fund include:
- workshops
- gardening days
- street libraries
- share stations
- picnics
- bake sales
- tea parties
- BBQs
Eligibility Criteria
- The following groups and organisations are eligible to apply:
- community organisations, community groups and social enterprises (your group or organisation does not have to be incorporated)
- local government
- school associations and volunteer-run childcare centres
- individuals whose activity/event is connected with a community group or organisation.
- Please note:
- businesses or for-profit organisations are not eligible to apply but can be involved in activities
- individuals employed by the Department of Health or Relationships Australia Tasmania are not eligible to apply.
