The Niskayuna Community Foundation (NCF) has announced $30,000 in available grant funding for 2021.
Since the year 2000, the Niskayuna Community Foundation has awarded more than $400,000 in grants to more than 100 different organizations that have made life better in the town of Niskayuna and strengthened its schools. NCF grants have supported children in crisis, senior safety, innovative education, town-wide entertainment, and other programs that enrich lives and meet critical needs.
NCF prioritizes projects and programs that address significant community issues. Grants are awarded in the following fields:
- Health and human services
- Arts and culture
- Community development
- Conservation
- Historic preservation and recreation
- Grants may also be made for capital projects including equipment purchases

Grant range up to $30,000.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for funding, the applicant organization must:
- Serve the residents of the Town of Niskayuna and/or the Niskayuna School District
- Qualify as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization according to IRS guidelines
- Operate under the fiscal sponsorship of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or
- Be sponsored by the Town of Niskayuna or the Niskayuna School District
