The Farm Service Agency (FSA), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is seeking to partner with and support the efforts of partner and stakeholder organizations to promote awareness, increase understanding among landowners and program participants, and increase enrollment in CRP-TIP by providing outreach and technical assistance to the agricultural community, in particular, private landowners, beginning-, veteran, and historically underserved farmers and ranchers.
The Conservation Reserve Program-Transition Incentive Program (CRP-TIP) creates opportunities to ensure expiring CRP contracts are used to support the next generation of producers by incentivizing transfer of land access and ownership.
This Notice outlines opportunities to partner with the Farm Service Agency (FSA) to promote awareness, increase understanding among landowners and program participants, and increase enrollment in the Conservation Reserve Program-Transition Incentives Program (CRP-TIP).
Funding Information
- The estimated funding floor for this opportunity is $50,000 and the estimated funding ceiling is $300,000.
- Projects may be between one and two years in duration.
- The agency expects to make 15-20 awards.
Eligible Areas
Proposals that focus on the following States will not be considered due to a lack of sufficient expiring CRP contracts or eligible acres: Alaska, California, Delaware, Maine, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, Vermont, and West Virginia.

- Public and State controlled institutions of higher education

- City or township governments
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
