The Norden 0-30 is a funding programme for young people in the Nordic Region up to the age of 30, with a creative project idea that needs funding. Projects that can be funded should cover culture, social issues, and/or politics.
Norden 0-30 supports Nordic projects focused on children and young people up to the age of 30. These projects can be related to culture, society, or politics. The goal of Norden 0-30 is to support projects led by children and young people. The program helps build their skills, influence, and involvement in political, cultural, and social activities. The target group of the programme is children and young people up to the age of 30.
Funding Information
- Projects with at least three Nordic countries: Up to 50,000 EUR.
- Projects with two Nordic countries: Up to 10,000 EUR.
Eligible Projects
- Examples of eligible projects:
- Networking: This could include meetings, conferences, workshops, camps, courses, or other activities designed to strengthen partnerships, exchange experiences, and share resources.
- Production: This includes creating materials like campaigns, reports, artwork, or digital stories to help children and young people better understand their right to participate and influence decisions.
Eligible Costs
- You can apply for support for projects or networks that involve cultural, political, or social activities where children and young people are actively involved.
- They should have a say in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the project. Project partners should encourage democratic participation and help children and young people gain more influence.
Ineligible Costs
- Organisations or networks that do not work with or have experience involving children and young people.
- Individual applicants.
- sports organisations.
- Projects aimed at making a financial profit.
- Routine operations, such as purchasing equipment or furniture, or paying salaries unrelated to the project.
- Activities that have already been completed (projects must start at least 8 weeks after the application deadline).
Eligibility Criteria
- Grants are available to:
- Organisations, groups, municipalities, institutions, associations, and networks.
- Norden 0-30 supports projects with partners from two or three Nordic countries.
- For projects with two countries, one of them must be Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, or Åland Islands.
- For projects with three countries, at least three Nordic countries must participate. This includes Denmark, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, and the Åland Islands.
- The applicant must live in one of the Nordic countries listed above. They do not have to be young, but they must represent a group that includes or has experience working with children and young people.
- Cooperation with Greenland, the Faroe Islands, Åland Islands, and the North Calotte (Finnmark, Nordland, Troms in Norway; Norrbotten in Sweden; Lappi region in Finland) is encouraged. Additionally, cooperation with Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania can also be included.
