The Novo Nordisk Foundation is currently accepting applications for its program entitled “Humanitarian and Social Purposes” to promote welfare for socially disadvantaged people in Denmark and the rest of the world, the Fund allocates support for humanitarian and social purposes.
Support for humanitarian and social purposes can be applied by Danish established organizations with a humanitarian or social purpose. The Fund ensures that the organizations it supports focus on the health and well-being of socially exposed persons, that they are recognized and that they submit publicly audited accounts.
The vision of the Novo Nordisk Foundation is to contribute significantly to research and development that improves the health and welfare of people.
Funding Information
- The support is given in the form of appropriations up to DKK 500,000.
- A total of DKK 41 million will be distributed in 2017. For humanitarian and social purposes.

Applications must be completed and submitted via the fund’s internet-based application system, which can be accessed via given website.
