The Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation is seeking applications for its 2020 Grants Program that focus exclusively on general operating support.
The COVID-19 pandemic has created significant challenges for the local nonprofit sector. They recognize the need for patience and flexibility as nonprofits and funders alike navigate through this “temporary normal” together.
Funding Information
- Applicants may request up to $7,500.
Grant dollars may be used for expenses that occur succh as:
- Salaries and wages
- Office rent or mortgage payments
- Office utilities
- Supplies and equipment
- Professional development
- Marketing materials
- Dues and subscriptions
- Business travel
- Etc.
Eligibility Criteria
- Provide substantial services or programs that benefit Emmet County and its residents
- Are 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, educational institutions, units of government, or religious houses of worship providing services to individuals regardless of their religious affiliation
- Can demonstrate financial solvency prior to March 1, 2020
- Are in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and must have obtained 501(c)(3) status with the IRS prior to March 1, 2020
