The SBI Foundation is pleased to invite potential grantees with a proven track record to implement projects in the thematic area of Adoption of Solar Power for a period of 2-3 years starting from FY 2025-26.

Scope
- The proposed project under SBIF CONSERW should be in the thematic area of Adoption of Solar Power. The project interventions will fall under the following sub themes:
- Implementation of off-grid solar power plants, rooftop solar systems, and solar lighting in underserved remote areas to ensure reliable electricity access, with the broader goal of transforming villages into energy self-sufficient communities.
- Deployment of community-based solar lift irrigation systems to enhance water availability for both agricultural and drinking purposes.
- Transforming institutions into energy self-reliant units through the adoption of solar energy solutions.
Funding Information
- The budget for a proposal should be in the range of Rs 0.50 Cr. to Rs. 4.50 Cr. for a support period ranging from 2 to 3 years.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Agency should be a non-profit organization/trust/society registered in India.
- The NGOs applying in the RFP should have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing CSR projects in the thematic area of Adoption of Solar Power.
- A dedicated team for Solar Power adoption projects, comprising of engineers, environmentalists, etc.
Selection Criteria
- The NGO should have a minimum 3 years of existence on the date of publication of this RFP.
- The NGO should have presence in the proposed state.
- The NGOs having demonstrated capability to improve measurable outcomes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the intervention will be preferred.
- The NGO must have completed at least 3 assignments/projects of a similar nature.
