The Saskatchewan REALTORS® Association provides a grant every year to deserving registered charitable organizations through the Saskatchewan REALTORS Care® Grant Program.
The mission of the Saskatchewan REALTORS Care® Grant is to demonstrate REALTOR® care and commitment to all communities in Saskatchewan by awarding grants each year to charitable organizations in the province.
Funding Information
- The Saskatchewan REALTORS Care® Grant program welcomes all submissions, but only one award will be granted at approximately $6,000.
Eligible Activities
- Applications are currently being sought from registered charitable organizations that support the following activities:
- support shelter-related services in the communities
- enhance environmental sustainability, protection and conservation of natural areas
- promote safer neighbourhoods and improved community services
- enhance and promote community development and better opportunities for “at risk” populations
- support populations and disadvantaged citizens
Eligibility Criteria
- Organizations applying for the grant must have been in continuous operation and delivering services in Saskatchewan for a minimum of two (2) fiscal years prior to the date of the grant application.
- Preference will be for specific project or capital funding as opposed to general revenue for agency staff or core operations.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Funding will not be granted to the following types of organizations:
- Theatres or performing arts groups
- Service or fraternal clubs
- Private foundations
- Religious institutions
- Agencies/organizations whose sole purpose is to raise funds for distribution to other community organizations
