Submissions are now open for the Arts Organisations Annual Program.
This program enables arts organisations to deliver annual programs that:
- develop and share high-quality art experiences and/or offer high-quality services to the sector
- create opportunities for Tasmania’s professional artists and arts workers
- build partnerships that strengthen Tasmania’s arts sector
- connect with and inspire audiences, and the wider community.
Funding Information
- Arts organisations can submit one application per round, requesting between $50,000 and $200,000.
Eligible Activities
- Eligible applicants can apply for support to deliver a range of arts and cultural activities.
- These can include:
- artist residencies and creative exchanges
- collection management and conservation
- concerts and performances
- creative development and research
- exhibitions and installations
- national and international opportunities
- professional development (including masterclasses and mentorships)
- recordings or publications.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants to Arts Tasmania grant and funding programs must be:
- individual artists and arts workers who have lived in Tasmania for six of the last 12 months
- groups of artists or arts workers with at least one Tasmania member
- Tasmanian organisations that are registered under law (an incorporated association, or a company limited by guarantee) or created by law (a government statutory authority).
- Organisations not based in Tasmania may be eligible for some grant programs for support towards activities that benefit Tasmanian artists and/or audiences.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Arts Tasmania grant and funding guidelines do not support:
- students seeking support towards activities that are part of a formal course or contribute to an assessment
- Tasmanian Government departments, government business enterprises and school associations
- Federal Government departments and government business enterprises
- organisations that have current multi-year funding agreements with Arts Tasmania, including organisations supported under the National Performing Arts Partnership Framework
