Vinnova is seeking Preparation Project for International Proposal in Health and Food 2023.
The offer is aimed at those of you who plan to make a proposal in an international call for proposals in the area of health or in food systems and sees a need to strengthen the project proposal to increase the chances of funding.
Funding Information
- In this call for proposals you can apply for 200,000 – 300,000 SEK for a project duration between 2 to 12 months.
Eligible Activities
- Funding can be sought to develop the scientific or technical basis for the project by carrying out pilot or “proof of concept” studies. It can also be about funding to strengthen the business case, by carrying out, for example, IPR analyses, user interviews or developing an initial business plan.
- Activities to strengthen the composition and collaboration of the consortium, such as meetings and discussions with potential international partners, as well as internal resources to design a competitive application can also be funded. If external expertise is hired, it is important that you describe their competence and what previous experience they have in the field.
Eligibility Criteria
- Swedish academia, research institutes, public sector and healthcare providers, idea-driven organizations or small/medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which plan to participate in an international application in the field of health or sustainable food systems can apply for this grant.
- International parties are welcome to participate in the preparatory projects, but only organizations that have a branch or place of business in Sweden can be financed by Vinnova.
- The project team may consist of one or more parties who plan to participate in the same application
Requirements
- They will only assess applications that meet the following formal requirements:
- The application must relate to a preparation project for a specific international application in health or food systems.
- All project parties are legal entities
- Requested level of support must comply with the requirements
- The application must contain all mandatory appendices and these must be written according to the template and not exceed the maximum number of pages allowed
- Companies seeking financing for more than 70% of those eligible for support the costs, then a signed certificate that you meet the requirements for “Support of minor importance” (de minimis support) must be attached to the application.
