The Alongside Wildlife Foundation Grant Program

Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders Grant Program

Deadline: 13-Aug-21

The Alongside Wildlife Foundation is seeking applications for its Grant Program to support the kinds of important wildlife projects that are typically overlooked by most major organizations.

This is a seed grant program, meaning they prioritize projects that have not yet started or are within their first year. Projects should focus on terrestrial and shoreline-associated animals (including invertebrates). They do not generally fund marine work. They do not fund projects that propose lethal solutions to human/wildlife conflict. They do not fund wildlife rehabilitation work.

They fund research, outreach, and conservation projects focusing on wildlife around the world (as well as organize some of their own). They fund workshops that help professionals learn about and communicate science. They direct one of the largest online-outreach campaigns focusing on wildlife and wildlife conservation. They collaborate with artists to communicate conservation messages. They recognize innovative science communicators with an annual award.
