UNDP is calling expression of interests for Accelerator Lab to start an experiment at the level of the Beni Khaled on the theme of waste management in collaboration with the municipality of Beni Khaled.
The Accelerator Lab of UNDP, Tunisia carried out exploratory work in the region of Beni Khaled as part of his learning cycle on the issue of waste management.
As part of this work and in continuation with the hypotheses formed following this phase exploratory, the accelerator lab intends to start an experiment at the level of the Beni Khaled on the theme of waste management in collaboration with the municipality of Beni Khaled.
This approach is intended to be part of a sustainable partnership approach with CSOs.
(Civil Society Organizations) local for information feedback and help with collection of geographic data in the field and who wish to set up their GIS in order to improve the management of the municipality.
Outputs
- Output 1: Implementation of the road GIS in order to have a navigable road map applied to waste management.
- Output 2: Implementation of GPS tracking devices on collection trucks and real-time monitoring via a graphical interface
- Output 3: Optimization of waste collection circuits
- Output 4: Training of municipal agents in the operation of the platform cartographic for the publication of geodatas and the creation of dashboards
Results
The contractor must provide the following goods / services:
- Result 1: Implementation of the road GIS in order to have a navigable road map
- Result 2: Implementation of the Waste GIS
- Result 3: Implementation of GPS tracking devices on collection trucks and real-time monitoring via a graphical interface
- Result 4: Publication of the data collected on the cartographic platform and creation of monitoring dashboards
- Result 5: Optimization of waste collection circuits
- Result 6: Training of municipal agents in the operation of the platform cartographic for the publication of geodatas and the creation of dashboards.
Eligibility Criteria
- At least 1 experience in implementing municipal GIS applied to waste management.
- At least 1 experience in GIS training
- At least 1 experience in fleet management (tracking and data collection) applied to the collection and waste management
- At least 1 experience creating monitoring dashboards with GIS data
- Only NGOs appearing on the shortlist will be taken into consideration for the call for tenders
