The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified entities to implement the USAID sustaining Control of the HIV Epidemic through quality Services, resilient Systems, and Community Outreach (SUCESSO)– in Sofala & Niassa Activity.
The primary goal of SUCESSO – Sofala & Niassa is to support the Government of Mozambique to reach and/or maintain HIV epidemic control by 2031 in selected provinces supported by USAID’s clinical HIV programming, specifically Sofala and Niassa Provinces.
Funding Information
- Subject to funding availability and at the discretion of the Agency, USAID intends to provide $77,500,000 in total USAID funding over a five (5) year period.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility is restricted to Local Mozambican Organizations (local entities)
- local entity means an individual, a corporation, a nonprofit organization, or another body of persons that
- is legally organized under the laws of the Republic of Mozambique;
- has as its principal place of business or operations in the Republic of Mozambique; and
- is
- majority owned by individuals who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of the Republic of Mozambique; and
- managed by a governing body the majority of who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of the Republic of Mozambique.
- Faith-based organizations are eligible to apply for federal financial assistance on the same basis as any other organization and are subject to the protections and requirements of Federal law.
