The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement from qualified entities to implement the USAID sustaining Control of the HIV Epidemic through quality Services, resilient Systems, and Community Outreach (SUCESSO)– in Sofala & Niassa Activity.

The primary goal of SUCESSO – Sofala & Niassa is to support the Government of Mozambique to reach and/or maintain HIV epidemic control by 2031 in selected provinces supported by USAID’s clinical HIV programming, specifically Sofala and Niassa Provinces.

Funding Information

Subject to funding availability and at the discretion of the Agency, USAID intends to provide $77,500,000 in total USAID funding over a five (5) year period.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility is restricted to Local Mozambican Organizations (local entities)
local entity means an individual, a corporation, a nonprofit organization, or another body of persons that
- is legally organized under the laws of the Republic of Mozambique;
- has as its principal place of business or operations in the Republic of Mozambique; and
- is
  - majority owned by individuals who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of the Republic of Mozambique; and
  - managed by a governing body the majority of who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of the Republic of Mozambique.
Faith-based organizations are eligible to apply for federal financial assistance on the same basis as any other organization and are subject to the protections and requirements of Federal law.
