The Community grant (EduKids) is open specifically to assist children in receiving an essential education by providing funding for vital ‘Back to School’ equipment such a stationery, uniforms, technology and more.
Variety EduKids Grants help WA kids receive an essential education by providing funding for vital ‘back to school’ equipment such as stationery, uniforms, laptops, tablets and more.
Community Grants are aimed at assisting organisations working directly with WA children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with disability.
Funding Information
- Applicants can request up to cap amount per child, not exceeding $20,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be a school, community group or organisation to apply.
- Your group must work with children aged 3-17.
- The children you work with must be affected by financial hardship or disadvantage
- The children you work with must be enrolled and attending (or will be attending) primary or high school in the application year
- The child’s household income is the guide
- The funding you are seeking must not be available via government or alternative sources.
Ineligible
- Equipment/items where funding is available from government / other grant funds
- Individuals 18 years of age and older
- Non-tangible equipment (warranties, maintenance, repair, plans, internet / subscriptions etc)
- Experiences / excursions
- Incomplete application forms
- Services / therapies
- Retrospective funding
- Voluntary School fees.
