USAID Funding Opportunity to advance the Rights of LGBTQI+ Individuals and Communities

The United States Government, as represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Bureau for Inclusive Growth, Partnerships, and Innovation (IPI) Inclusive Development Hub (ID) Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI+) Team invites interested applicant(s) to submit Concept Note(s) that aims to advance the inclusive development of LGBTQI+ communities and individuals through regional/multi-country civil society organizations (CSOs) and/or coalitions, especially those based in USAID presence countries in the Global South and East.

USAID’s Digital Invest Program

USAID’s Digital Invest program is announcing a new call for concept notes for eligible companies and organizations seeking to catalyze investment in funds or infrastructure projects that expand and strengthen internet connectivity and digital financial services for underserved consumers and businesses in emerging markets.

USAID anticipates developing four public-private partnerships under the above objectives, each with up to $500,000 in USG grant capital, and an equal if not greater amount of private sector resource commitments.

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is inviting applications for the Development Innovation Ventures (DIV) program.

Through a year-round grant competition, Development Innovation Ventures (DIV) sources proposals for innovations that address international development challenges and improve the lives of people living in poverty in developing countries around the world. DIV provides tiered funding to pilot, test, and transition to scale (i.e., grow to reach the highest number of beneficiaries possible) those innovations that demonstrate evidence of impact, cost-effectiveness, and the potential to scale.

The U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Office of Population and Reproductive Health (PRH) is pleased to announce the Social and Behavior Change (SBC) Research Annual Program Statement (APS).

The purpose of the SBC Research APS is to strengthen the generation and utilization of SBC evidence to improve the uptake and continuation of healthy behaviors, including but not limited to healthy spacing and timing of pregnancies, care-seeking at onset of illness, adequate complementary feeding, childhood immunizations, use of health and nutrition services, and other health outcomes.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Guatemala invites applications to advance Guatemala’s development by connecting indigenous peoples, women, and youth to opportunities that enable them to achieve prosperous, secure, and dignified lives at home in Guatemala under Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS).

The CDCS seeks to address the systemic development challenges which underpin Guatemalans’ decisions to immigrate to the United States, while helping create greater opportunities in Guatemala. Core areas that influence the decision to migrate include lack of economic opportunity, insecurity, and inadequate access to basic services. USAID/Guatemala seeks to partner with stakeholders to increase opportunities for Guatemalans in the areas that exhibit the highest levels of out-migration, corresponding to the areas with weakest state presence and lowest levels of economic development.
