Yenching Social Innovation Forum for Talented Young Innovators around the World!

Deadline: 20 October 2017

The Yenching Academy of Peking University is inviting talented young innovators from around the world for its Yenching Social Innovation Forum. The forum provides a platform to these young innovators to develop and share solutions to some of the most pressing social problems facing China and the world.

The Yenching Social Innovation Forum will take place from December 8-11, 2017. Participants will arrive by the evening of December 8 for the opening activities and depart on December 11.

With guidance from leaders in both public and private sectors, delegates engage in an interactive educational environment to explore dynamic solutions in realms such as entrepreneurship, public policy, and third sector organisations. In creating a global network in the heart of Beijing, the forum works to foster collaboration, transnational understanding, and innovative learning that can lead to a better tomorrow.

Founded on the ideal of fostering global connections and dialogue, the Yenching Academy is a fully funded residential program offering a wide array of interdisciplinary courses on China within broadly defined fields of the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Working closely with their academic mentors, Yenching Scholars are granted the flexibility to create their own study paths by choosing from six academic concentrations and a variety of extracurricular activities. Studying at the Academy represents a unique opportunity not only for intercultural exchange and interdisciplinary learning, but also for personal and professional development.
