Deadline: 15-Jan-23
The Thomson Reuters Foundation (TRF) introduces its new journalism training “Reporting and Communicating on Women’s Economic Justice.”
Purpose
- The 6-week, two-track online training, led by their experienced instructors, will provide a deep dive into the subject and discover how to:
- Journalists can better report on women’s rights and economic challenges and solutions, in impactful and relevant ways.
- CSOs can strengthen their communication skills to increase support and awareness of their work in promoting women’s rights and economic justice initiatives.
- Through the twin-track approach, journalists and CSOs will participate in simultaneous trainings led by their leading journalism and civil society experts. Throughout the six weeks, the two tracks will also have joint sessions that will foster mutual learning and networking to build a collaborative approach and address the intersections between women’s rights and economic justice.
What You Will Earn?
- Journalists – After this training, you will have gained the tools and knowledge to confidently report on the intersections between economic and gender justice for women with an understanding of the policies, key challenges and actions being taken.
