RYCO Open Call for Capacity Building Training for Schools and CSOs from North Macedonia

RYCO, with the support of the OSCE Mission to Skopje, is launching the open call for participation in the capacity-building training for project design in the areas of youth mobility, cooperation, and activism in the Western Balkans.

The call is opened for less experienced representatives of civil society organizations and secondary schools from North Macedonia.

The Regional Office for Youth Cooperation (RYCO), with the support of the OSCE Mission in Skopje, announces a call for participation in training on capacity building in the preparation of projects for youth mobility, cooperation and activation in the Western Balkans. Representatives of secondary schools and civic organizations from North Macedonia can appear in this call.

Objective of the Training

The training aims to increase the level of knowledge and the capacity of civic organizations and high schools, so that they can independently and successfully prepare project proposals, respecting the principle of inclusive participation of young people.
As part of the training, participants will be introduced to the concepts of intercultural education, reconciliation, youth participation and social inclusion, as well as opportunities for partnerships in the region.
Participants in the training will gain theoretical and practical knowledge for the development of the main elements in the application of projects – first from the justification of the idea, continuing with the setting of goals and activities, until the formation of a real budget and well-planned promotional activities.

Who is the training for?

This training is designed for representatives of secondary schools and civic organizations in the country, who have no or very limited experience in project preparation and implementation. More specifically, the following parameters will be taken into account during the selection of candidates:
- Representatives of Secondary Schools
  - Who plan to lead the process and draft a project proposal before their institution
- Representatives of Civil Organizations
  - Who plan to lead the process and draft a project proposal before their organizations
  - Who have not realized projects worth more than 10,000 euros
- Who can fully dedicate themselves to training
- Those who have never been the bearer of any regional project before
- Those who have never before been the bearer or partner of projects financed by the Office Regional Youth Cooperation
- RYCO encourages the participation of schools and organizations from smaller communities and/or multiethnic
