The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) seeks applications for funding under the fiscal year (FY) 2023 Juvenile Justice Emergency Planning Demonstration Program for Juvenile Justice Residential Facilities.
Objective
- The objective of this program are to ensure the safety and well-being of youth and staff in juvenile justice residential facilities; strengthen facility preparedness, among resident youth, staff and the facility itself; maintain the efficient continuation of operations; and reduce risk to the physical plant.

- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Private institutions of higher education
- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- State governments
- Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
- For profit organizations other than small businesses
- Others
- City or township governments
