With the support of the European Union, CENN announces a competition for young people aged 18-30, from Kvemo Kartli and Scholarship for young professionals from Samtskhe-Javakheti regions to participate in the programme.
This programme is organized with the support of the European Union under the framework of the project “Empowering CSOs to Promote Inclusive and Green Post-COVID Recovery” implemented by CENN, in collaboration with the Center for Consultation and Training (CTC), Kvemo Kartli Media, and the organization “First European.”
Objectives
- The objectives of the Young Professionals Programme are:
- To foster the professional growth of young individuals residing in the region;
- To contribute to the development of civil society organizations in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti.
Benefits
- As part of this initiative, CENN selects 10 applicants, who will have the unique opportunity to work for one month with leading civil society organizations in Georgia.
- Following this, they will receive grant funding to implement their innovative ideas in collaboration with local civil society organizations in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions.
Eligibility Criteria
- They invite young individuals aged 18-30 living in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti who share an interest in civil society development, both at the local and national levels, to participate in this programme.
Selection Process
- The program includes the following components:
- Selection of participants: those wishing to participate in the program must fill out application form by October 1 with whom Applicant’s resume (CV) and cover letter should be attached.
- Interview with selected candidates: successful applicants from 9 Until October 13, they will undergo an individual interview of CENN with representatives. As a result of applications and interviews, in the program 10 young people will be selected to participate in the program.
- Professional internship in civil society organizations in Tbilisi: 10 young people participating in the program, 2023 In the period of November and December, he will undergo a 1-month internship program in Tbilisi, various civil societies in the organization. Internship start and end dates will be determined as a result of the agreement with the mentioned organizations. In order for the selected candidates to provide in Tbilisi life, they will receive a one-time scholarship of 400 euros.
- Internship in the civil society organizations in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti: after the program participant Young professionals will successfully complete 1-month Professional internship program in Tbilisi, they are in 2024 In the January-March period, they will also undergo a 1-month internship in local organizations. Participants within the internship They will be able to share their experience at the local level and with a new vision to make their own contribution to civil society in strengthening society.
- Implementation of small grant projects: during the internship period in the organizations in Kvemo Kartli and Samtskhejavakheti, Program participants will implement a small grant project. The amount of money allocated for the implementation of the project is 500 Euro equivalent in GEL.
