The Australian Representative Office in Ramallah is seeking applications for its 2017-18 Direct Aid Program which is a flexible small grants program funded by the Australian Government in over 60 overseas missions.
The Australian Representative Office (ARO), Ramallah, runs the DAP program in the Palestinian Territories.
The primary objective of DAP is to achieve practical and tangible humanitarian or developmental outcomes in vulnerable communities. DAP funds activities that have a direct, practical and immediate impact.
Eligible Sectors
In 2017-18, the Ramallah Direct Aid Program will target the following groups:
Funding priority sectors are:
- health
- disability
- gender equality and women’s empowerment
- education and safe play/learning environments.
Funding Information
Applications must seek a grant of USD$5,000 to USD$20,000;
Eligibility Criteria
- DAP funding is available on a not-for-profit basis to individuals, community groups, local or international NGOs and other entities engaged in development activities in the Palestinian Territories.
- Applications can be submitted for projects in the West Bank, Gaza Strip or East Jerusalem.
