The William Buckland Foundation (WBF) is currently inviting applications for its Enabling Education Program with an aim to support real change in four key areas of focus; Homelessness and Employment, Health, Education and Agriculture.
The new structure of the granting program aims to have better impact, and make a real difference in improving the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged Victorians.
Goals
- Engagement: education providers galvanize students, parents and community to action in support of education for children and young people
- Inclusiveness: policies, practices and culture ensure opportunities in a wide range of positive learning experiences are available to all children and young people
- Teacher quality: passionate teachers inspire curiosity and explore and ignite a passion for learning
- Leadership: professional school leadership creates inspiring learning environments
- Pathways: young people, especially those who have left the school system have access to pathways to training and tertiary qualifications.
Funding Information
The Trustees will consider providing funding from $50k – $150k per annum for up to 4 years.
Eligibility Criteria
- The WBF can only consider request from organizations that:
- Clearly demonstrate alignment to one or more of the Priority Outcomes for the Program
- Operate in Victoria and who will use the grant for the benefits of Victorians
- Have an ABN (Australian Business Number)
- Are incorporated.
- Applicants are not required to have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, preference is expressed for organizations that are endorsed with Tax Concession Charity (TCC) status from the ATO.
