The United Nations Association in Canada (UNA-Canada) is currently seeking applications for its prestigious International Development & Diplomacy Internship Programme (IDDIP).
The United Nations Association in Canada (UNA-Canada) is an historic, national charitable organization providing the leading policy voice on multilateralism in Canada. Established in 1946, UNA-Canada was a founding member of the World Federation of United Nations Association and today holds its elected Chair representing global civil society.
UNA-Canada’s mission is to educate and engage Canadians in the work of the UN and the critical international issues that affect us all. Eligibility requirements
UNA-Canada seeks candidates who:
- Are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada;
- Are a graduate of a post-secondary institution with a minimum of a Bachelor Degree;
- Have a proven interest in international development/affairs;
- Would be accepted to the programme by both UNA-Canada and the UN host organization following a suitability interview.
- There are no upper age restrictions. Previous participation in a Canadian government funded Internship programme and/or previous paid work experience abroad does NOT disqualify you.
