The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has announced a call for proposals for the Development of technical standards for renewable energy technologies.
The aim of the project is to stimulate private sector investment in renewable energy sources in Kazakhstan to achieve country indicators in relation to renewable energy sources. The project is aimed at both large-scale and small-scale renewable energy sources.
The ultimate goal of this project is to help transform energy market in Kazakhstan due to a significant increase in scale of use renewable energy in the field of electricity production.
Duration
Duration of work: 5 months from the date of signing the contract
Eligibility Criteria
- At least 7 years of experience in the development of standards in Kazakhstan;
- At least 7 years of experience in the preparation of analytical materials, studies, recommendations / expert opinions to regulatory documents;
- Experience with international organizations in relevant topics (development of standards in Kazakhstan) will be an advantage
- At least 3 reviews and recommendations for the last 7 years from previous customers on similar similar services (on letterhead, indicating the date, signature and print);
- Possess intellectual potential (availability of qualified personnel):
- Project Manager, with higher technical education, as well as with experience work in the field of technical regulation and standardization in the Republic Kazakhstan for at least 10 years;
- Technical specialist in standards, with higher technical education, and also with experience in developing national standards in the Republic Kazakhstan for at least 5 years;
- Specialist in analytics, with a higher technical education, as well as with experience preparation of analytical materials, studies, recommendations / expert conclusions to regulatory documents in the Republic of Kazakhstan for at least 5 years;
- Specialist-corrector, with a higher humanitarian education, as well as with experience clerical work in the development of national standards, interaction with TC, STC and STC in the Republic of Kazakhstan for at least 5 years.
