Deadline: 31-Oct-2024
The Valencia Conference Centre is launching “Solidarity Spaces”, a new initiative offering free use of the Conference Centre’s spaces to non-profit associations.
The aim is to provide a platform for these organisations to organise events that benefit the community and promote social causes.
One of the objectives of the Palacio de Congresos within its approach to Corporate Social Responsibility is to support initiatives that have a positive impact on social integration and the benefit of specific groups, particularly those at risk of exclusion, not only seeking to recognise exceptional projects, but also fostering a collaborative network that contributes to an inclusive, supportive and sustainable society.
Purpose
- The Valencia Conference Centre is calling for this competition aimed at non-profit organisations, which consists of the transfer of its facilities to these organisations for the performance of activities to support their purposes, such as (non-exhaustive list):
- Activities associated with its operation (annual meetings, volunteer meetings, internal training)
- Conferences related to their fields of activity
- Events aimed at raising the visibility of causes or groups
- Charity or fundraising events
Benefit
- The winning organisation will have the use of the Valencia Conference Centre free of charge, including the associated basic services and facilities, for the purpose of carrying out activities associated with its operation. Such activities may include, but are not limited to, congresses, events aimed at the visibility of social causes or collectives, solidarity events, or fundraising events.
Duration
- The event associated with the winning initiative will be held within a maximum period of one year from the announcement of the result of the competition.
Eligibility Criteria
- The competition is open to all non-profit organisations, regardless of size, that propose projects focused on social integration and support for specific groups, especially those at risk of exclusion.
- Proposals must be submitted by one (or several) organisations in collaboration with one or more private sponsors, who can support by participating in the event expenses that are not assumed by the Palace.
