The Community Foundation for Staffordshire has launched the Hanley at Home Fund Programme to organisations that will help people to manage and maintain their own home.
The core values of the Hanley Economic Building Society are:
- Putting members first – to build trusted relationships
- Taking personal accountability – and working with passion and commitment
- Supporting their community – devoting time to make a difference in the community
- They do the right thing – being honest, principled and thoughtful
- They not me – listening to and supporting others
Funding Information
- Grants of between £500 – £2000 are available
Projects they can support
- Your project must meet at least one of the following aims:
- To support organisations that will help people learn life skills so that they will be more able to manage and maintain their own home.
- To support organisations that will help people to remain in their own home on discharge from hospital.
- To help and encourage people into housing to whom this would otherwise not be an option.
- To support children and young people in learning about finance and improving their financial literacy skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- This programme is able to consider applications from:
- Registered Charities
- Constituted community groups
- Constituted voluntary groups
- Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs)
- Registered social enterprises
- Industrial and Provident Societies
- Additionally:
- Organisations should have been operating for a minimum of 12 months
- Organisations do not need to have an account, nor be a member with an account at the Hanley
Ineligibility Criteria
- This programme is not able to offer funding to:
- Any of the Society’s partner charities
- Local Authorities
- Parish and Town Councils
- Schools
- Statutory organisations
- Groups that will benefit statutory organisations
- National organisations with no local arm
