Nuffic has announced a call for proposals to strengthening and reforming the capacities of the forces security forces to identify and prevent the radicalization and violent extremism.
Nuffic’s Orange Knowledge Program is a global development program, intended to strengthen professionals and organizations through education and Training. The program helps to achieve the objectives of the Dutch politics development cooperation in which education plays an important role.
The proposed project must contribute to the following objective:
- Contribute to the promotion of just, peaceful and inclusive societies and achieve legitimate stability by strengthening the capacities, knowledge and quality of individuals as well as education and training organizations technical and professional and higher education (TVET / HE) at OKP partner of countries.
The project proposal must contribute to achieving one of the following long-term impacts:.’
- Reduced levels of violence and fear;
- An improvement for citizens of the possibility of accessing their rights through fair, efficient, impartial, independent and accountable institutions;
- States, regional and local authorities and companies are able to prevent and effectively resolve conflicts in a non-violent and inclusive manner;
- Income generation and livelihood opportunities, to prevent(re) occurrence of conflicts, instability or irregular migration.
The following medium-term impacts will contribute to achieving these objectives:
- Partnerships between people and organizations are inclusive and sustainable (SDG 17);
- Organizations essential to inclusive (sectoral) development in partner countries are reinforced by the influx of reinforced labor

- Maximum funding available forthis call (excluding co-funding): EUR 300,000
- The maximum duration of the bespoke Plus training is 24 months. Please note that the dateproject implementation limit is set before March 31, 2022.
Criteria
Dutch institutions offering professional and academic education secondary and higher or other types of organizations that offer training courses that also contribute to the reinforcement of priority themes in the countries listed countries are eligible for group training grants OKP. These institutions must provide training themselves; organizations intermediaries are not eligible. Institutions must have the capacity sufficient financial and organizational resources to conduct training. They canprove by means of a CECO which is deemed positive by Nuffic. Organizations mustalso prove their experience in providing the desired training.
To be eligible for a grant for OKP group training, a request must relate to the conduct of training for candidates who meet the criteria following:
- Applicants work for one of the following types of national organizations and / or local: ministries, institutions for secondary vocational or academic educationor higher, universities, private sector, commissions or NGOs. Applicants cannotwork for:
- a bilateral or multilateral organization;
- a non-governmental organization that operates internationally and whose the activity focuses on the representation of social interests, such as cooperation indevelopment, protection of nature and the environment, health or rights of man.
Applicants must have the nationality of or reside and work in one of the OKP countries including grant requests for the conduct of the type of group training concerned can be granted.
Applicants must be able to apply knowledge and acquired skills.
