CavinKare is seeking nominations to celebrates the spirit of entrepreneurship with CavinKare-MMA Chinnikrishnan Innovation Awards. The 9th edition of CavinKare – MMA Chinnikrishnan Innovation Awards will be presented on Wednesday, 23rd September 2020 at 6.00pm.
The mission of this award is to identify and showcase innovative organizations, which have introduced breakthrough changes and can become role models for other Indians.
There is hardly anyone who has not heard of the late Sri R Chinnikrishnan, the brain behind the sachet revolution in India. Popularly known as Dreamer, Innovator, Ideator and Entrepreneur, they believe no name can describe CavinKare Innovation Awards better than the Chinnikrishnan Innovation Awards.
- Innocations cateogry: The selection will depend on three primary criteria:
- Uniqueness – The product or service must be the first of its kind
- Benefit to people – It should benefit the end consumers in a real-time scenario
- Scalability – The product or service must be capable of being scalable within a reasonable time
- Great Ideas Cateogry: The selection will depend on three primary criteria:
- Uniqueness – A Great Idea, which can become a business opportunity
- Benefit to people – It should benefit the end consumers in a real-time scenario
- Scalability – The idea, when implemented, is capable of being scalable within a reasonable time
The CKPL & MMA Edge
CKPL and MMA will function as mentors when required by the awardees under Innovation Category and provide mentoring support on marketing, finance, designing, packaging, R&D, and HR.
For Great Ideas, if needed guidance will be given as appropriate to convert into business.
- Direct access to the top talent available in the industry for a year
- CKPL and MMA will have no financial stake in both Categories chosen for the awards
- Support for Patenting the product/services (wherever required & feasible)
- Support to Carry out trademark, packaging, and design registration
- Facilitate tie-up with banks & financial institutions
- The Nominee should be a citizen of India.
- The registered office of the company, firm or individual should be in Tamil Nadu or Pondicherry.
- Only small-scale enterprises with an annual turnover, not exceeding Rs.25 crore for the year 2018-19 will be eligible. The turnover criteria are not applicable to the nominees under Great Ideas category.
- This is an application process based award. Aspirants must submit an entry form available online or through a mail.
- Aspirants or nominees in the respective category must send a brief write-up in not more than 300 words – ”How your Business is innovative/different” or “Why My Idea is Great!”
