The 2020 Youth Impact Challenge empowers young people with the tools to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
The Youth Impact Challenge is a competition for young people with big ideas about how to tackle real environmental and social issues. Throughout the summer the best ideas will be given access to funding, networks, and mentorship that’ll help bring the solutions to life.
Goals
- Empower 300+ young people
- Engage with a diverse group of youth
- Give out $50,000 in prizes
Benefits
- ROUND 1-Top 30 teams announced. Each team is judged based on the initial application. Each team receives $1,000 and mentorship.
- ROUND 2-Top 10 teams announced teams deliver 10-slide presentation OR 10-minute video pitch Top teams announced soon after.
- ROUND 3-Top team delivers final pitch LIVE. Top team receives $10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- People younger than 25.
- Young people from all educational and professional backgrounds.
- Canadian resident.
