Within the framework of the project “Voice of Women and Leadership – Ukraine” a competition for participation in online training “Advocacy: from grain to harvest” has been announced by the International Renaissance Foundation.
During the training the Foundation will consider the following issues :
- The main stages of the advocacy campaign
- Problem analysis
- Citizens’ appeals and requests for public information
- Explanation of differences, examples of creative and influential subscription campaigns.
- Stakeholder analysis
- Creating a list of actions before, during and after the campaign
- Seven secrets of a successful advocacy campaign
- Training modules combine theory and practical exercises, tests, homework to help participants consolidate their knowledge to prepare and conduct their own advocacy campaigns.
Dates: September 11-13, 2020 .
Venue: Zoom
Participants
For representatives of women’s human rights organizations and women activists from different regions of Ukraine.
Technical Requirements
- Representatives of women’s human rights organizations and women activists from different regions of Ukraine are invited to participate in the competition.
- Participants have access to the Internet, agree to work online and have minimal skills in Zoom and Google.
- Participants arrange their workplace in advance, have a computer or laptop with a camera, take care of the maximum absence of extraneous sounds and have the opportunity to focus on training.
- Participants do homework and go through all stages of training during 3 days of training.
Selection Criteria
The main selection criteria for participation in training :
- Motivation to study for the sake of results
- Desire to conduct their own advocacy campaigns in the future
- Willingness to participate in project activities
