Deadline: 18-Jul-2025
Applicants can request up to £500, either to fully fund a project or to serve as match funding alongside other sources. Eligible expenses include venue hire, refreshments, promotional materials, and supplies needed for community activities.
Funding is not available for activities that have already occurred, projects without clear community benefit, or initiatives that are entirely religious or political in nature. Statutory services or obligations also do not qualify for support.
Organisations eligible to apply include voluntary or community groups with a simple constitution, registered charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs), Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs), newly formed groups, and Parish Councils applying on behalf of new groups. All proposed activities must benefit people or places within the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Individuals, private businesses, and groups formed for political or religious promotion are not eligible. Applications must include a signed constitution if available, recent financial information or a bank letter, relevant safeguarding policies, permissions or licenses if needed, and any supporting details that help explain the project.
