Deadline: 15-Aug-2025
The U.S. Mission to Namibia is calling for proposals that aim to strengthen connections between the people of the United States and Namibia. These projects must prominently feature a significant American element. This could include collaboration with U.S. experts or institutions, initiatives that highlight U.S. values, or activities that build lasting relationships between people and institutions from both countries.
Projects should also align with the U.S. Embassy’s objectives, such as promoting government transparency, economic growth, scientific and technological advancement, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and cultural or sports excellence. The activities should take place in Namibia and may be conducted in person, online, or in a hybrid format.
The total estimated funding available is $50,000. Grants will range from a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $10,000 per project.
Applications are welcome from both U.S. and Namibian entities. Eligible applicants include registered non-profit organizations such as NGOs, think tanks, and community groups, as well as individuals, non-profit and public/private educational institutions, local authorities, and organizations currently managing an American Space under an active MOU agreement.
