Deadline: 01-Oct-2025
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is inviting applications for funding to support the operations of the National Tribal Air Association (NTAA). This initiative aims to strengthen tribal capacity in engaging with air quality planning and policy efforts led by the EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation (OAR).
The funding will help the NTAA assist Tribes in better understanding and participating in air quality regulatory and policy processes. It also supports tribal responses to EPA initiatives, while honoring tribal sovereignty and the right of each Tribe to maintain a government-to-government relationship with the federal government.
A total of $1,675,000 is available under this funding opportunity. This full amount may be awarded to a single recipient. The project is expected to run for a period of five years.
Eligible applicants include states, including the District of Columbia, local governments, U.S. territories and possessions, federally recognized Indian Tribes, and public or private universities, colleges, hospitals, laboratories, and other non-profit organizations.
