Activities will cover outpatient and inpatient services, mental health care, NCD management, emergency and elective surgeries, and comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services, including care for survivors of gender-based violence. Nutrition interventions will focus on treating severe acute malnutrition, routine growth monitoring, promoting infant and young child feeding practices, and preventing micronutrient deficiencies.
The initiative will also strengthen integration with the national health system through alignment with Ministry of Health guidelines, collaboration with regional and district authorities, capacity building for health workers, and advocacy for refugee inclusion in national health strategies. Pre-departure medical screening, outbreak risk mitigation, and medical escorts for voluntary returnees will be part of the repatriation health support.
